At least he is now in peace. These last few years have must have been very difficult and painful for him with a string of scandals/controversies, lawsuits and intrigues.
Dear Senator Kiko Pangilinan, Good morning! It is 350 a.m., 28th day of September 2009. I am a concerned Filipino in nationality and would like to acquire the best explanation one could offer me anything that has to do with R-vat and E-vat while I read more about it and try to understand its implications to the everyday life of every Filipino living in the Republic of the Philippines, especially of the economically challenged Filipinos. One situation that led me to really learn more about this is how we pay R-vat per real estate property such as the condominium units. For discussion purposes, one unit at 5,000,000.00 pesos is 600,000.00 pesos @ 12% R-vat. With just condominium units alone being sold, as we observe the rising of the condo living and the increase number of builders which leads me to believe that there are good number of condo units selling or sold. In return with this R-vat in place, our country continues to be deficit, with the economically challenged families or Filipinos in rising and no visible government social services and health programs concrete enough to provide good and quality services to the people? On this note, please give me the best answer you could and also please refer me to the best person in-charge to answer to this question or to the governing body related to this matter. Thank You very much for your time and your answer. I am awaiting for your response. Please e-mail me if you can or post it here on your web site for everybody else that are interested to read about it and learn more about it. My e-mail address is vdinah@yahoo.com, my number is 09209826535 or landline 401-3959. Reading more about you from your website gives a feeling of relief that you diligently study and give the most correct answer you could give. Again, thank you in advance and I hope to hear from you soon. Respectfully, Dinah
